About Na Kluea

Naklua is located in the northern part of greater Pattaya,  translating to “salt fields” this area was mainly salt farming and fishing villages before the tourists arrived.  Compared to Pattaya, the Naklua area is shy and retiring with only a handful of bars and restaurants along the Naklua Road.

The Huay Yai area is South East of Pattaya and about a 20 minute drive.  With many new housing villages being built around this area you can find a nice house in a secure development but feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of Pattaya. With the famous temples, golf courses and the silver lake vineyard there are many local attractions to visit and the beach is just a short drive away.

The East Pattaya area is commonly known as the “darkside”, mainly due to the lack of streetlights in years gone by. It covers the area east of Sukhumvit Road and is a popular address for the many expats living in the Pattaya. Some features of the area include many top quality schools, some of the finest golf courses in Thailand, plans for a brand new shopping centre and a booming housing market.  So if you are looking for a house for sale or rent this is the area to be.

The Pratumnak area is just South of Pattaya city and within walking distance to the Pattaya nightlife, but providing a serene quieter lifestyle.  Known as the Beverly Hills of Pattaya this area is very popular with developers for large condominium projects, boasting fine beaches, a nine hole golf course and plenty of local dining. Notable attractions are the Big Buddha on the hill, or the Pattaya lookout to watch the sun set over the islands, a very romantic spot for couples.

About Na Jomtien

Located about a 20-30 minute drive south of Pattaya city is this seaside suburb.  Unlike Pattaya, this tranquil suburb has many restaurants and resorts right on the beach.  Enjoy some kite surfing or windsurfing on this spacious beach. A popular weekend destination for Bangkok residents, although it never seems busy with the congestion compared to the city, with notable local attractions including the Ocean Marina Yacht Club and The Glass House restaurant to name a few.

Now if you’re after serious night time entertainment, this is the place to live.  Home of the world famous Walking Street, were the heavy action doesn’t start until late in the night and ends in the wee hours of the morning.  Featuring nightclubs, go-go bars and a variety of beer bars you will never be short of a smiling face. Along with the array of seafood restaurants on the foreshore, many people just come to walk the strip and watch the street performers and be dazzled by the lights and the crowd.

About North Pattaya

North Pattaya can be defined as the area north of Pattaya Klang road up to the dolphin roundabout.  A very popular location with the larger hotel chains providing easy access to Pattaya beach.  There is plenty of local entertainment including beer bars, massages and a few local bands playing all kinds of music. The shopping area around Big C north provides a large shopping mall with everything you need from fast food to designer fashion outlets.

The Wongamat area is just north of Pattaya next to Naklua.  With a long strip of clean sandy beach, it is one of the best beaches in the local area, very popular with the higher end resorts and hotels. Known locally as millionaires row, this strip has that seaside resort feel with fantastic views out over the islands, some first class dining options right on the beach and all only a few minutes drive to the heart of town.
